Born and raised in Chicago, Jerry Colangelo is one of the world's leading figures in sports and sports business. Building himself up from his early days of basketball at the University of Illinois, Jerry Colangelo became the reason for and founding member of the Chicago Bulls, Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Arizona Rattlers. He is now a special adviser to the Philadelphia 76ers and has served as the director of USA basketball since 2005. Jerry became the face of Grand Canyon University's Business School in 2014; now referred to as the Colangelo College of Business.
